An exciting opportunity has arisen at Secure Thingz, we are looking for a Test Engineer to become part of our team!
Your responsibilities will be to understand requirements for new features, working with product management and the engineering leads to identify how these requirements will be tested, even at system and unit level. We would like the successful candidate to produce tests for the new features in Python and other test frameworks and ensure they operate within the CI framework. You will be able to participate in the planning of test improvements and CI improvement initiatives, perform manual testing where required, investigate automated test failures and report the status of the tests.
Excellent Python skills
Knowledge of test frameworks e.g. Unittest, Pytest
Git, Svn or similar
Experience of writing tests, at both unit and system level
Experience in translating requirements into tests with traceabilityExperience of CI
Windows or Linux experience
Experience testing hardware devices
Knowledge of DevOps tools e.g. Ansible, Docker
Knowledge of shell scripting: Bash or PowerShell
Experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, Gitlab, Jira etc.
