About us

Secure Thingz was founded with a focus on developing and delivering advanced security solutions into the emerging Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Critical Infrastructure markets. Today the traditional solutions for IoT security, based on hard boundary protection, are unable to defend against rapidly advancing threats. To enable true security through the product lifecycle, Secure Thingz through its partners enables trust to be infused early and form the bedrock of every IoT product. The leadership team has proven track record of building innovative technologies and businesses at ARM, Broadcom, Imagination Technologies (MIPS), AMD and Apple.

Senior/Principal Embedded Software Engineers (Security Kernel)

Secure Thingz works with major microcontroller and microprocessor vendors to enable image security on their devices.  This software works at very low level, normally before the main image boots.  We need people who enjoy working at bare metal level, and solving difficult problems, but you must also have a conscientious approach to ensure that no attacks are possible.

Skills and Experience

• Excellent embedded C experience

• Very low level, including bootloaders

• Assembler

• Security application (details of algorithm implementation is not required).

Principal PC Software Engineers

Secure Thingz is an energetic and exciting start-up revolutionising the IoT marketplace. Our products deliver high-grade security into IoT edge nodes, enabling management over the lifecycle of the devices, protecting investment and ensuring that enterprise management of complex IoT systems can be maintained.

We operate on the leading edge of connected technology and maintain close relationships with major semiconductor vendors and OEMs globally. With substantial tier-1 microcontroller customers and a rapidly growing user base the company has offices in Cambridge, UK, and Mountain View, California, and are actively recruiting at both locations.
